David Wall
"I’m a Chicago-based filmmaker with years of experience, and I’ve created everything from short films to music videos, from commercials to documentaries. I’ve worked with local businesses, global brands, and industry staples alike. Stop-motion animation is my biggest passion—there’s something about its quirky, nostalgic feel that just clicks with me. I’m also a highly skilled video editor and a bit of a jack-of-all-trades— dabbling in directing, photography, sound mixing and more.
At the core of my work? Stories. Crafting moments that make people laugh, cry, or just plain blow their minds, I always keep the narrative at the heart of every project. From stitching shots together to fine-tuning a performance, or even moving tiny objects one frame at a time, I’ll use any trick up my sleeve to create something that ignites the imagination."
Ang Gardner
Ang Gardner graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2021 with a degree in Filmmaking focusing on Assistant Direction. She was an active member of the Chicago production scene, where she was first assistant director on the feature American Parent and walkie PA on Chicago PD season 10. Her career came to a grinding halt when she received an on-set head injury right before the WGA/SAG-AFTRA strikes. After a full year of recovery, Ang changed courses to focus on teaching and research, hoping to prevent the conditions that keep her from set.

Brandon Prosek
"Brandon is a writer, producer, and creator based in Chicago. You can find him co-hosting and co-producing the monthly show Brews & Bad Movies where they bring Chicago’s best comedians to perform stand up and then roast the worst movies with live commentary. This show has been running every month at Lincoln Lodge Theater since January 2023 and sold out its entire 2024 run.
Having received a BA in Film from Columbia College Chicago in 2014, Brandon has always had a passion for script writing whether if that was for film, television, theater, or even graphic novels. Over the years, Brandon has produced hundreds of videos, web shows, and podcast episodes through his production company Entertainment Buffet on their YouTube channel. A number of his TV pilot scripts have made it to the Quarter-finals, Semi-Finals, and Finals of screenwriting and comedy competitions.
In 2023, Brandon began developing script courses for Lincoln Lodge Training Center and is expanding their program outside of just stage comedy but into the screenplay community. Through these classes he has now helped a number of first time writers draft their own TV pilot scripts.
Whenever he’s not working on one of his scripts or comic books, or on some adventures with his amazing partner, he can be found living as a golden retriever in human form working out daily or on the pickleball court."

Considering himself a storyteller first, filmmaker second, and composer third, he is a firm believer that “The right music helps an audience see better,†and is known for often incorporating and manipulating vintage instruments and alternative textures into his scores, creating unfamiliar, yet undeniably emotive, threads woven into the music."

Virtual production is more than just a new set of tools. It requires a different way of thinking about filmmaking. This session offers a practical and creative framework for approaching preproduction for virtual production workflows, especially for filmmakers and artists who are just beginning to explore the technology.
We’ll start by breaking down the core concepts behind virtual production, including what it is, what it is not, and how it changes traditional ideas of location, lighting, timing, and design. From there, we’ll explore how tools like Unreal Engine, LED volumes, and real-world location scanning techniques can support creative flexibility and improve production efficiency.
Whether you are preparing for your first shoot using virtual environments or simply trying to better understand how virtual production is changing the filmmaking process, this session will help you rethink what’s possible and give you a foundation to start building smarter, more efficient and more future-ready projects.
